Petite erreur là : avant son rachat par Apple, PA Semi n'a jamais fait d'ARM. Ils faisaient du Power PC basse consommation (PWRficient).
Par contre, le fondateur de PA Semi (Dobberpuhl) est un ancien de chez DEC, et là-bas il s'était fait une certaine réputation en bossant sur le StrongARM, le CPU ARM de DEC (déjà utilisé par Apple à une lointaine époque, dans le Newton).
